My art strives to tell a story through color, layering, and composition. I take elements from my surroundings and capture a moment in time with a feeling of comfort and nostalgia. My art ranges from hyper-realistic to minimalist shapes with appropriate levels of detail depending on the emotion I intend to evoke from the viewer. I enjoy using similar printmaking techniques in order to create aesthetically different outcomes. Where many printmakers enjoy a degree of the unexpected in their work, I tend to be precise and intentional in both my technique and desired results. My body of work combines vibrant and simple with complex and subdued in ways that catch the viewer and draw them into the story I have created.
